Oh hi. It's me. Major neglect on the blog lately, but my dear husband has been dropping hints for a while now so i figured while he is sleeping and I put off making sunday dinner I would do a quick update. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you've probably seen all these pictures. But in case you hate technology or just want a back story.... this is for you!
We are doing really well and absolutely LOVING our last year here in Spokane. We have been so blessed and really are so grateful, but more of that to come later! We have been busy soaking in all of the things we want to do before we move and creating lasting memories and friendships.
I started my job as a manager and stylist at Supercuts. As dramatic and crazy as the girls are, I really have enjoyed being able to do hair and grow as a stylist. I feel like I have learned so much and still have so far to go! One day I will have a salon in my home, but for now, I will put up with sassy clients who kind of suck at tipping. that's my vent for the night!
Jared is in his second year at WSU and going strong! He works as a TA for the accounting and finance class as well as continues to get straight A'S. IN GRAD SCHOOL! did i marry a genius? yes, yes i did. We still love to cheer for the cougs although they are really not good.
Our favorite tradition in the fall is to go to the corn maze, get hot chocolate, and carve pumpkins! This year we were able to hang out with some of our best friends, the Schmidts and I don't know what we are going to do without them next year! We love them... and their kids. Perfection!
We also were able to get some family pictures done.
Isn't fall just beautiful?
We celebrated our "friendsgiving" this year with our amazing friends Lance and Leeya! these two make us laugh so hard and have been amazing friends to both jared and i. it really is great to find friends that both husbands and wives get along so well. We ate a ton of food and of course went shopping.... because any deal is a good deal :)
I also celebrated my 23 birthday and felt so loved by so many!
Dinner consisted of Cafe Rio and then the Hunger Games!
Jared spoiled me rotten this year, and i was given sweet gifts from my family and these friends right here! Seriously, I am the luckiest girl alive!
Have I mentioned how baby hungry I am?
(here's to hoping jared reads this) :)
We also went to our ward christmas party and won the competition for best dressed couple! Jared picked our outfits out from goodwill and insisted we match! Turns out I should listen to him more!
And the biggest news in our family:
Jared accepted a fellowship with Dignity Health in San Francisco. We are so excited for this next big adventure in our lives! We are so happy and relieved to know we have a plan after graduation and I can't even begin to describe how excited and proud I am of Jared. Not only did he fulfill my lifelong dream of living in California, BUT he also beat out over 300 candidates who applied for the same job! It really is a big deal and such a huge accomplishment.
Jared and I have been so blessed this year and can't wait to see what next year has in store for us. We have absolutely loved being here in Spokane and while we are sad to see it come to an end, we are so excited to continue on our adventure and see what heavenly father has in store for us. We are so excited for this holiday season and can't wait to see family and friends in Arizona.
With Love,
Jared and Reagan
